MEL (GF ELITE CAMP PARENT)

JPL Goaltending has been amazing. JP & coaching staff are awesome! The structure, attention to detail, and the in-depth conversations that they are having with these young goalies is second to none. This is our son’s 4th summer JPL camp in a row and he has greater focus, more refined technique and is building a solid foundation on which to develop his skills. Thank you to JP and staff for all the work you have done. He has clearly benefitted from your coaching. You have a passion and a talent for what you do and it’s evident you care for each and every goalie you are working with. The level of professionalism, thoroughness of the basics and beyond, and overall camp experience more than exceeded our expectations. We not only want to thank you for the time and effort that you put in daily to provide great goalie training, but also for the wonderful words of wisdom that you impart to your students. You teach goalies all the things that go into playing on & off the ice, physically and mentally. Your camp has been fantastic at giving our son a glimpse into the focus necessary to succeed at a higher level. You talk about goals and what is necessary to get there. It’s not only about becoming a better goaltender, but about the life lessons you teach along the way. You lead by example. You’ve taught him about developing the right mindset. Every year of camp is a refresher course on hard work, dedication, and commitment. We thank you for that. We are very grateful for the chance to have JPL Goaltending so close to us. Thank you for running a great goaltending program. Because our older son loves it so much, we signed up our youngest son (Mite). He had a lot of fun while learning a lot. We’ll see you next summer!

SCOTT (GF YOUTH PARENT)

This was our second year attending JP's camp and we plan to be back again next year. The kids not only learn great skills but also have lots of fun. The smiles on the coaches and kids faces tell you all you need to know. Watching some of the drills they do its hard to tell who is having more fun, the kids or the coaches. JP and his staff are approachable to talk to you and always make time to answer any questions to help these youngsters improve and excel not only in hockey but life lessons as well.

KYLE (GF YOUTH CAMP PARENT):
My oldest boy has been attending JPL for 3 years and always has a positive experience. The on-ice coaching is very helpful and my boy comes away each time with new skills and confidence. The big plus, in my opinion, is the off-ice video work. My son will tell us things JP has said and he really takes the lessons (especially the open-mindset lesson) to heart.

KAYLA (GF YOUTH CAMP PARENT):
Wyatt had a fantastic week again this year! He loves being able to attend a camp and truly work on his skills as a goalie!! He loved that he worked on new things compared to last year and can't wait for next year!!

HOVI (GF YOUTH CAMP PARENT):
This camp was phenomenal. Every single detail was attended to and well thought out. My son came home every day excited for more. We are at the beginning of our goalie journey and look forward to many more camps with JPL.

MEGAN (VEGAS CAMP PARENT):
The Vegas camp was a great experience for my daughter. Every day she came back exhausted but excited to tell us everything she had worked on that day, and couldn't wait to go back the next. Off ice, she has much more of an appreciation for proper stretching. Also, hearing some of the personal stories and philosophies from someone other than her father really made a difference... colleges really don't care about your stats as a squirt! Happy to have been a part of it this year and look forward to years to come.

Sam really wanted to join you again this year. […] After attending the camp last year, his goal was to make the varsity team as he entered into 9th grade to follow in JP’s footsteps. I am proud to report, he has achieved that goal and will be on the the Varsity team this upcoming season! Thank you for your inspiration.

(COACH):
I took a lot from JP. He's a Coach, but still plays at a high level which gives him a huge leg up on other coaches. JP is aware of all the little details that can turn a very good goalie into an Elite goalie. He's in touch with all the new techniques and trends and can easily translate that information into his coaching style. I learned a ton regarding the off ice aspect of the game as well.
